Jinan Petrochemical Group Co., Ltd. (Jinan No. 2 Petrochemical Plant) is situated in the beautiful spring city.  It lies north to Qingdao expressway, south to Jiaoji railway. The company has an area of 34 hectares and near 1898 staff and workers, including 370 engineers and technicians. The fixed assets is 294 million RMB yuan. This petrochemical large comprehensive enterprise was founded in 1958. At the beginning of 1980's our company was named as one-carbon chemical base by the government.

It has two productive systems with petroleum processing and basic Organic chemistry, including six sets of equipment. Formic acid plant was founded in 1959. It was the first set equipment in China. In 1998, 20,000 TPY formic acid has been built up and put into production. The company is equipped with special purpose railway line and oil-pipeline conveyer. Modern management method is adopted by our leader. Our main equipment is controlled by computer. We have already passed the quality certification in China.
